Default Out with the old...In with the new

So now my engine worries are behind me (fingers crossed) the farkling has begun in earnest.

Already changed out the old head unit for a DAB/Sat Nav upgrade.

Dashcam fitted

And todays 3 hours was spent changing out the cloudy tired foglights. Went for a DRL/Fog combination unit. Straight swap, easy wiring unit supplied in the kit. Right hand side was a bit of a bind to get to but sorted now.

Overall I'm pleased with the result. Headlight upgrade next.......

Osram LEDFOG102. Yes a little pricey but bright as anything. 5 year warranty. 4 wires to connect to the car and 3 connections to the lamps. Easy enough. Just the right side one is a bit of a pain because of the washer bottle. Pretty much plug and play

Did you need any special brackets for the Outlander? Are these the same ones you got?
Amazon Amazon

I am looking to get the same ones on my 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS V6. They look awesome!

No. They are the previous model. LEDFOG101. Main difference I think is there is less wiring with the new kit. The 101 link to indicators as well.

These are the ones I have
https://www.amazon.com/LEDriving-daytime-running-functionality-LEDFOG102/dp/B07LH48ZNR/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=ledfog102&qid=1558739479&s=gateway&sr=8-1 https://www.amazon.com/LEDriving-daytime-running-functionality-LEDFOG102/dp/B07LH48ZNR/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=ledfog102&qid=1558739479&s=gateway&sr=8-1

Not really bothered with the indicator link and if the manufacturer has got rid of this feature there must be a reason I feel

They are a straight swap. 3x 10mm bolts each side. Take the old ones out and these fit straight in. No modifications needed.
