RE: Replacement brakes for the 2nd Gen Outlander
I have driven quite a few vehicles and the previous ride was an Alfa Romeo 156 with brembo brakes so maybe im biased towards them after riding with them for over 5 years.
The stock brakes areeffective I suppose but you are not suggesting that the stock will perform as good as a Brembo HP aftermarket caliper and disc right?

RE: Replacement brakes for the 2nd Gen Outlander
Having just sold myEvo, I can say that the brakes are definately not as good (DUH!). HOWEVER, I drive many, many differeny cars each day, and have to say tht the brakes on the Outie are great, comparatively speaking. If your brakes are spongy or soft, I would take the car in and have them looked at.

Updates?
I trying to do the same thing. I know that the hub and the bolt pattern are the same as the Evo. I just put on my powder coated stock evo x rims on my 09 Outtie. I want to buy evo 8,9,10 brembo calipers, rotors, pads and ss lines for the Outtie. Does anyone know what i would need to convert them? would i just need the bracket that the evo brembos bolt on too?
