Does anyone know how to replace the Foglight bulbs on a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS? Any instructions or a how to youtube video?

Basics for the outlander is remove the chrome bezel by turning counterclockwise, and then remove the fog light housing by taking the 4 phillips head screws off. Replace bulb and test before reassembly. It would be almost impossible to do this like shown from behind the bumper, I would ignore that link. Its vague at best.

Will that be the same for a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS? |
I think the early models use a light housing with two screws, but will be equally as easy. Take a couple seconds next time youre at your car and turn the bezel counterclockwise to check out how the light is attached underneath. It will be clear as day once you see how simple it is.
The fog light is low in the bumper, and there is a plastic air dam under the bumper extending back past the radiator keeping you from coming from below. It may be possible to replace the bulb from the back without pulling the housing out, but it sure wont be easy with all that plastic in the way. Better to pull out a few screws and do it from the front. |
Do not loosen the one bolt you see when the bezel is on, thats the leveling adjustment not to remove the light or bezel.

Thank-You!
