Romik Products, Good? Bad?
Hello, I was thinking of making my purchase to a romik side-step bar. It was price at around ~$550~ CND, plus a $98 dollar installation fee. Thats around 650-750 dollars at its total, do you think is worth it? Because I ask the dealer, that have side step running boards, but is not from Mitsubishi. Price at $1000 with installation, which is ;O.
Does anyone on the board have purchase these step bars, if so, can I see them in a picture? How are they??
Thanks
SR

Since you are in Canada here is an interesting bit of information:
If you can prove that someone in your family may need the " running boards " due to age or health issues. Your local dealer will install them for free. They get paid by the government. Mainly because it's a health utility and is covered by the provincial healthcare system. They cover upto a max of $1000 for the running boards.
In my old van Chrysler Canada installed the running boards for free because my mom thought the van was too high for her. So, it was free

both!
I paid nothing...all free... However, this time around with the Outlander my mom says it's just right. So I can't go and bitch about it to the dealership. Plus I just installed mud guards on mine so I don't want them to rip them off and place a butt ugly running board
This picture has both running board and mud guards

Shambala, can you do me a favor and post better resolution and bigger pictures? My wife and I are trying to figure out if we should buy the RomikRunning boards because my mom is really short and has some issues getting into the vehicle. Pictures would be most appreciated!
