Does anyone have any suggestions as to improving the quality of the bluetooth sound system in the Outlander? I am constantly told that i sound like I'm in a barrel, particularly at highway speed. It probably has something to do with microphone placement, but I'm not sure.

I have the same problems. I usually slow down a bit when I am on the phone...
Previously i had a sun visor mounted unit (Supertooth) It had exceptional quality... I am thinking of putting it back...

How do you set up bluetooth with your phone? Im having a really hard time with it.

I've read that placing the mic towards the driver improves sound quality for your callers especially when you are driving.

As for the bluetooth and your phone, make sure you setup a new connection on your phone to pair with the BT in the outlander. Usually this is in the settings>connections and then make a new connection. Also make sure your phone is set to allow other devices to detect your phone, usually in the BT settings of your phone.
