Steering controls retrofit.
Just to tag onto this thread. Is anyone aware if the wiring is in the steering column as standard? I have an NZ new 2009 LS which didn't come with the steering wheel controls and am looking at what is required to retrofit a unit? If Mitsi built the cars with the wiring there but not connected then it is just a case of adding an aftermarket button set (available ex Alibaba)
Forgot to update this
Managed to buy the button block on EBay. Removed the blanks cover and it was a case of plug in and match to the Audio system. Wiring was in place already.
