stock radio low screen visibility at day... solved?

Default stock radio low screen visibility at day... solved?

hi! i just remove the red lens of the radio creen to improve the visibility in daylight... tell me what you think:

you have to remove the unit and push it out CAREFULLY

will be nice to just put a Brighter red : P
So what about waranty ?
how you remove the radio ?
Will be nice if you add picture of how you did it, and what kind of light that will be nice

I like more the red than blue. Seeing the picture without the red lens, it seems to be too bright for my taste.

lol you are regretting the Outtie just because of the radio display?

anyway i notice that it only looks washed out because of light reflection on it. this can be solved by using a non-reflective screen protector like those made by martinfields or clearvue for cell phones, pdas and etc.

lol not just for that i have a lot of realy realy bad problem with my outie.
i just dont think they have the value for the price i pay it.
