Stream music through bluetooth
I have a 2008 Mitsubishi Outlander XLS. It is possible to stream music through blue tooth?
|
If your XLS has the Bluetooth module, then yes.
|
I am able to talk on my outlander through blue tooth how would I stream music through blue tooth? I have the Samsung note 2
|
If it's like my 2012:
Press "Mode" hard-button, Select "Bluetooth Audio" icon, Select "^" icon, Select "Pairing" icon, Select your device (Samsung Note 2) from list, Select "Bluetooth Audio" |
If your phone is already paired to the radio via Bluetooth, then I beleive you just have to open up a music player on your Note. I have a Galaxy S3 and when I open up Pandora it automatically streams to the radio on the 'BT Audio' setting of the radio. Think on my 2011 I have to press the 'CD' button on the radio until I see BT Audio come up. The sound is pretty decent too.
|
Maybe I am doing something wrong or maybe my 2008 does not have this BT streaming ability can anyone else confirm if they have BT streaming on their 07-09 Outlander XLS?
|
I have an 07 xls. With the Bluetooth module. It's only limited to making calls not stream music. I think if I am correct that music streaming capabilities came available in 2010 or 2011 outlanders.

Bluetooth music
Is there a way to upgrade the module to allow streaming music
|
Can you p[lay music through your phone via bluetooth or usb on 2009 outlander 2.2 diamond. On the verge of buying one but need this clearing up if possiblr guys.
Thanks in advance |
Yes you can
You will have to update your Fuse software. Version 9 (2010 prior) does not allow streaming via bluetooth. Please see the link for the steps involved in order to update your headset.
