Sub and car rattle ? with the 650 W Rockford forsgat ? when you listend some song ?

 

My XLS is fine no rattle when I listen to music

 

Do you mean on the highway? or just city driving?
check the back left compartment make sure your tools back there are not outside of their pouch or hitting something. On mine the OEM tools that came with the outlander were jumping around the back compartment hitting the metal and plastic.

 

I get some rattling sometimes. It really depends on the song, and how much bass it has. Do you have the Nav system? You can adjust the Punch level (I think that is what it is called) to reduce the amount of rattling you get.

 

Like, every plastic rattle, some song even make plastic Vibrate
even when the volume is 15 !
The sub is at 6, basse at 2.
i will be suprise to see an other OUtlander with that option juste to listen to it.

 

I also have the rattle, I beleive that it's not the speaker or the grill. I think that in my case the rattle is coming from the plasticlinning on the tailgate. I haven't tried to do anything about it yet, but I eventually would like to see if I can do something about it.

 

I had the same thing but I found the problem to be my rear license plate. The dealer put on that standard black plastic frame on top of the plate that was rattling with the license plate. I removed the plate plate and put a little piece of sticky foam under the bottom of the plate where it is not attached to the body and no more rattling for me.

 

I had the same rattle problem with the license plate banging against the plastic license plate holder.

 

Well me it all the plastic everywhere on the door, one of my light outside, so bad that i heard it inside, Behind the sub, where the tools is, at the dealer they put a kind of ruber everywhere, the probleme was solve, now it back, lol

 

Could be that your Outlander is telling you to start listening to some CĂ©line Dion!
