Does anyone have any experience towing a small popup tent camper with an 2.4cl Outlander? We recently purchased the 2018 model and are thinking about purchasing a small popup. Is this even possible? The towing capacity is 1500 lbs and I have found small Pop ups that are below that weight. I am wondering if anyone has any experience towing with this model, and advice or tips. Thank you!

 

It should be fine under 1500lbs. Any more than that and your front axle will lose grip. I loaded mine down before with 3k lbs. It pulled it but I would not do that every day. 1500 it will tow like a champ.
