Default Upper glove box light

Installed upper glove box light.

Replaced lower glow box bulb with dashboard LED.

At night - a bit too bright for passenger though good for driver.

Replacing blue bulb with LED enhanced lighting of lower glow box considerably.

ohhh, Can you detail the parts you used? I would love to do this on my 08! The stock light is useless.

The LED is on the first pic, I bought them on DealExtreme 3 or 4 years ago for a car sold long ago.

Roof lights are LEDs bought there too.

Thanks,

you just soldered it on?

Did you splice it to run the upper light?

I soldered the wires directly to LED for upper box, and just pushed soldered stripped other ends of them into lower box connector - not most reliable connection, but I can take a risk
I did not want to cut insulation with vampire connectors.
