Maintance ?
Has anyone changed there rear end oil? The owners manuel says to do it every 15K but mine has 18K and I have not touched it. The only maintance I have done is a tire rotation and oil change with Mobil 1 every 5K.

RE: Maintance ?
Dodge has had terrible times in the past of keeping their axles together.
So much so that they created their own 140 weight synthetic axle lube. use NOTHING ELSE in the rear end, and change it at the correct intervals.

Mitsu list 2 rear end oils. A 75W-90 and a 75W-140. Both are synthetic. So I called the local Dodge dealer and they told me that they use the 75W-90 and only reccomend the 75W-140 for extreme uses (i.e. towing, mud riding).

Be sure to double check your owners manual. I just bought an 06 Raider XLS with 18k miles. I was going to do the front and rear differential fluid maintenance just to be safe since the manual said 15k miles and I dont know if it was done.
After a closer look at the manual I noticed that Mitsu put the severe driving maintenance schedule before the normal driving schedule. So unless you are doing alot of heavy towing or off roading you can wait alot longer for the fliud change. I dont have it in front of me but I think it said like 60k miles.
