2003 montero sport awd xls
Without doing much research my daughter and I acted on impulse and bought a 2003 montero sport xls awd---I do just about all of the maintenance on my2 ford taursesand a 1991 chevy s10---I am already getting a little nervous over the chat room talk and all of the reviews I have read regarding the brake systems, as I try to do all of these repairs---actually, I have not paid for brakes pads or shoesfor any of my cars over the last 25 years (of course I must occassionaly break down and resurface/buy rotors----I even get free LT calipers for these cars from Autozone every time I replace the pads)asI buy the LT's and return for new setswhen worn out(except for pep boys who lost their LT contract with raybsetos and no longerhonot just replacement padLT's, but will only honor the LT if defective)--anyway, I am already beginning to price pads and rotors, as I absolutely refuse to let a dealer take me hostage and charge their outrageous prices!! I just wanted to drop in andsay hello!!!

RE: 2003 montero sport awd xls
I guess you are the right person i am looking for.I have a 2003 Lancer ES and a newbie for "Car break System".Recently my rear breaks worn out and ordered pair of shows with autozone. While waiting for break shoes to come,i am trying to find information about how to get those shoes replaced.I have never changed break shoes before and my car doesn't have a user manual either.
So is there anything specifically i have to look for when i change the break shoes and what are tools i must have to do this thing.
Thanks
Shenba
