camshaft/crankshaft sensor
 

Hello, ok like so many others on here I am new to this forum and thanks. I have done a couple of searches on here and I think my question has not been answered, and sorry if it has and I just couldn't find it. Anyway let me explain my problem, I have a 1995 eagle summit which has a Mitsubishi 1.5L engine 4G15, and it broke a timing belt which from my research that engine is a interference engine and most likely has bent valves. I put a new timing belt on and it still would not start, I checked the distributor with a multimeter and it read 1.1 ohm My question is even with bent valves wouldn't the car start and run bad even with bent valves ? could it be a bad camshaft or crankshaft sensor which is built in the distributor, even if the distributor is testing within range ? I did a compression test but I don't know if I did it correct because I came up with 0 psi on all 4 cylinders. any help would be very much appreciated.
