Hello All from Southern Cali
Hello Everyone,
My name is Rick. I'm new to the site as well. I'm looking forward to reading about all the projects and tech advice. I bought a used 94 galant ES from a private owner about a year ago, and am now looking to "spice" it up a bit. It has the sport suspension on it and I love the ride, however I'm bottoming out a lot and think that I need to raise it. Do you guys know how low it can be so that I do not hit every stinking speed bump with my bumper? Thanks! |

hello welcome to the forums!! a 3" drop should be safe...n e thing more then 3" i believe causes body roll more.. i dont have my car dropped yet and figure out by how much your hitting them by and just raise it that much :-p

Thanks Tidus. The only issue I have is that the veh was dropped already when i bought it. So you're saying to get 3" springs?

RE: Hello All from Southern Cali
ohh you bought it dropped...ok then they prolly bought drop springs...you can always go back and buy stock springs.... i dont know if they make spring blocks like they do for trucks and stuff for those spring

Cool. Will try that. Do you know what is the best kind of rotor to get? e.g slotted, drilled...
|
RE: Hello All from Southern Cali
slotted and drilled :-) brimbo makes a big brake kit but then you also need bigger rims to fit the brakes
