Default Hello there

My name is Chris, known as tweek. I drive a Miata, and my girlfriend has a 2000 Sport Mitsubishi Montero XLS. Its her first car, but I taught her how to drive stick and got her into the car scene as well.

She wants to get a 2g eclipse, but before that happens we have to fix her Montero and sell it.

Anyways I will be here lurking, and I will upload pics as soon as she gets it.

Here is the Montero if any one cares.

If she doesn't mind learning how to be a mechanic along the way, it's a great idea. I hope she likes to get greasy

Pics of said girlfriend?

Are you saying eclipse is known for breaking down? I am unaware, I have always been a Honda guy but I love different makes and models.

Here is the only car related picture I found of her. We painted the wheels together on an old CRX I used to own.

Aawwwwh you know that ain't acceptable.

The 2g Eclipses that are worth buying are the 4G63 Turbo ones, and AWD (GSX), if you're really lucky. The issue is that stupid ****head kids buy them for cheap, hack them up, break them, fix them like retards, and slap them back together and sell them.

I've seen them be very reliable and take quite a beating, I've also seen them break a lot.

With these cars, it's good to always have a spare engine and transmission, it's the only way to roll in my opinion.

I'm always on top of maintenance, and I will be extra cautious when looking for an eclipse. I saw turbo one the other day for 4,500 with one owner and all maintenance records on hand. I don't know about planning on having an extra engine and tranny laying around.

There's a whole heap of **** I can talk about NZL, so don't throw stones if ya know what I mean.

Remember, the actions of ones government is not a reflection of its people. Although this is what your ****ing news media teaches you to believe, so you're not at fault for your stupidity.
