Mitsubishi l200 2.8 wont upshift from 2nd gear!!!

Hi all,
Owned my 2005 misi l200 2.8 automatic for 2 years now. this truck has never caused an issue or skipped a beat.
Then one particular day it decided it wont shift up from 2nd gear in drive. goes in park neutral and reverse fine.
PLEASE HELP
