New to the forums
Hello from Altanta! New to the forums. My name is David and I live in the metro Atlanta area. I have been driving Mitsubishi's since I was in H.S. Have always loved the dependability, reliability, and most of all the perofrmance and appearance.
Currently, my DD is a 1997 Mitsubishi Mirage LS 1.8L sohc, naturally aspirated 4g93. I have had my most recent Mitsu for a little over a year.
Right before this one, I had a '96 Mitsu Mirage LS 1.8L sohc, naturally aspirated 4g93 as well. After a few years of bolt on performance upgrades and TONS of road trips in the '96, it was running like a dream! But, of course 2 weeks after buying a new wheel/tire package for a little over 3k.... it was totaled. R.I.P.
And, back in 1994 I got a '92 Mitsu Mirage GT Hatchback 1.6L dohc 4g61T. That little car was so friggin fun to drive around Atlanta. I acquired this vehicle from a friend of mine that had it passed down to him from his father! It was a factory turbo and I never did anything to it by way of engine upgrades. Back then, I didn't really know how to do anything to a car outside of wheels/tires, and stereo upgrades. So of course being back in the mid 90's, I spent tons of money on rims/stereo.
I remember putting the little 15 inch prime wheels with michelin tires on it and thinking, "Wow, I have spent a lot of money on this car!" But, I was only 17 yrs. old at the time and, very wet behind the ears when it came to the import scene. But, I figured... it has a turbo, what else could it possibly need? Well, over the years I have learned there are so many performance options for these little marvels of engineering. And I pretty much have never looked back.
Of course I have had other vehicles here and there, and in no way do I only like mitsubishi... but, I would have to say given the choice to drive anything I wanted to... I would still own a Mitsubishi! So, Im happy to become a member of the Mitsubishi Forums community and look forward to getting to know everyone around here!

RE: New to the forums
Funny, I used to do the same thing to a girl out in Kennesaw... It would seem that all the women out there are like that! (That is a joke for those who may take that personally or live in the area) Appreciate the welcome guys.
