New gs in town.

New gs in town.
Hey, my name is not going to be mentioned do to people who are trying to kill me. But I will tell you that I have a white 1998 Mitsubishi Eclipse GS. I tell you this because that is how my killers recognize me. It currently has no mods. That is because I am going to replace my engine with a tuned 4g63 in about 5 or 6 months. (tuned meaning thatthere is a less possibility of crankwalking.) I'm in the Southern region, if anyone wants to send me some club info.

RE: New gs in town.
welcome to the site. i hate to start off on a bad foot here, this being your first thread and all but... i have some bad news amigo. to swap the 4g63 (if it'sa 7bolt it still has the ability to crankwalk, tuned or not!) into the gs you had better have a hefty wallet. the conversion alone will cost you about 3-4grand plus the cost of the motor. not to mention the labor if you don't plan on doing it yourself. i know you are very excited to have an eclipse and love your car to death but before you get in to deep... if you want power out of an eclipse sell your car and get a gs-t or gsx.

I think its funny. All these people are like... "i have a GS but i dont like it... im going to swap the 4G63 into it... i dont have a lot of money so i cant get a GSX... i realise that its going to cost more to swap the 4G63 in.. but its ok... because i dont care"
Where is the logic?
Anyways, welcome

Ah ha, So you truely are concerned for your fellow Mitsu owners. I had hoped that this site was ligit. Yeah I kinda knew about all that. I'm a member of a tuner forum and we all had the same conversation. I wanted the opinion of true dsm enthusiasts. So I guess I'm going to be friendly about it all and say thanks. I hope to have much more hospitality around this area.
