New kid on the block
Hello,
I live in southern Oregon and have had my 96' for almost a month now. GS, Monarch Green Pearl.
I traded it straight across for a 95 Civic DX that had it's fair share of problems ( bad transmission, non working gauges etc ) The Eclipse has it's problems too, but I've always wanted one and it was there so I took it:
The interior isn't the best. Rear seat is shot I have a few lined up through the junkers here in town. It also needs the rear hatch interior plastic ( Grey, if anybody knows of it being sold ) Getting a new headliner as well.
It also has a 3 finger wide spot of rust on the hatch that's pretty bad, but I've got it bondoed, sanded and ready for paint however.
The paint isn't in the best of conditions. It's getting a new coat of Monarch here in June.
240K, But I've taken and cleaned everything. Going to try a top end rebuild here this summer, work permitting.
So for the things that are wrong with it, I love it. It's a dream car of mine. It's a good little project and I cant wait to finish it. She's my daily driver as is.
