Software update using the APP fails

Hi All,
Outlander 2015 using the PHEV0 app.
When I login I get a message that the 'Vehicle Sofware has to be updated'
But when I run the update I get an error: 'Phone battery level is low. Please try again after charging'
I get this error even if phone has a 100% charge or is plugged in!
Has anyone else experienced this?

I have had this since I upgraded my phone. I have tried WiFi reset and deleting the app and reinstalling it but none of this has worked.
It also seems that the dealers don’t know the answer for this either. Which is very unhelpful.
