This is my 1st Mitsubishi, and 1st post to my new family of Mitsubishi owners. Here"s hopping everyone is in good health and good spirits. My question to anyone that may now, is about my 2010 Outlander GT witch has the rockford stereo w/usb hook up in the consile between the two frount seats. It seems that when I hook up my scandisk to the usb port it does not see it as a mp3 player, is this because the stereo is only IPOD compatible?

The stereo is compatible with a lot more than ipods. If you have a USB flash drive or memory card with songs on it, the system can play it (no need for an mp3 player).

In your case, try puttin your Sandisk into MTP/MCP mode and see if the car can read it.
