I just joined and was just gonna say whats up. Im a new owner of a 91 eclipse and i had a few questions...
I locked the motor up and its in the machine shop getting bored 20 over and were putting JE forged pistons, Eagle rods, some balance eliminato kit, and now we have to put aftermarket valves and all top end. I was just curious what kinda times i would run at the track. I know it has a stage 2 clutch, a short shifter, aftermarket turbo manifold, spark plug wires. intake. Thats about it. I was just wondering how much faster the new pistons and guts would make it compared to stock with a clutch. Will there be a big noticable difference???

well you should definetly see some sort of difference but without any kinda tuning you really cant get too much out of it. I would start getting some stuff to really unlock some power out of that. Cuz now that the motor is built up it can handle more boost than normal. I would start with a boost controller. You said it had an aftermarket turbo manifold. Is it a ported 2g or something along those lines. Does it still have the stock 14b turbo in it.
