ok. i had a 4g63t with all the turbo upgrades and **** practicly bought and when i get there to pick up theres ALOT of problems with it.. so instead i was thinking keep my 1.8 and work on that... idk exactly what style i have so if you want i can show you a pic of it... also will i be able to get this as fast as the 4g63t? right now its stock. whats the first thing you would add?

hope to see lots of help.. i will be gone for the next 4 days so sorry if i dont get back to you asap...

You have a 4g37, you can do what ever you want but the 1.8 is always going to be a bit slower then then 4g37 due to the displacment and the sohc. THe motor really isant worth building up, it will take alot of fabercation, no one makes a manifold for it so that will have to be custome made, along with the exaust, intake, and fuel system.

It would be cheaper and alot less of a head ach to do a 4g63t or a 4g63 swap.

man im looking for a 4g63 from anyone... i found one for 600 with 112K miles on it. what are you charging for yours? also big question here, looking for an answer tonight if possible, or early tomorrow, i found this on the internet for $1,400....... Cryotreated Ported 4G63T Engine for 1g Eclipse hand over 600hp. it only has the block head pistons ect.. no intake exhaust throttle body, turbo, or anything like that... is it a good idea if i plan on fixing this engine to the max??

if its only 1400 then i dont really trust it because a stock new block will cost you more than that. Something seems linda fishy there. And i doubt that the internals in that engine could handle that hp. Do they say what internals come with it?

would you really drop 7K on that engine? You can get other built engines way cheaper than that. Like the buschar long block which i think is around 4-5k
