I want to put a front receiver on my 1996 Montero LS. Mostly so I can use my winch either in the front or the rear ... and then remove it when I'm not offroading.
I can't find products specifically for this vehicle for this purpose. Has anyone had experience with putting a front receiver on their rig that has advice or can point me in the right direction?

 

I looked online and couldnt find anything for a front receiver. There were some winch plates but that was it. I would say your best bet would be to contact a local fabrication shop and have them build you a custom front receiver.
