There are GT28RS turbo kits for it too.. .also one company builds a built motor for it... and a pre programmed ECU so you dont have to mess with tuning yourself. That is pretty much hello mid 3 sec 0-60s

Or you could take an EVO for $15k less and put on about $5k in mods and rock the corners better have a faster 0-60 and faster 1\4.

Even though the Badassness of the Elise is far behond the EVO. Still love Mid rear cars

Elise owns the EVO in handling though. My brother wants more power... the car is soooo stable its begging for more power.

Im not sure bout that I would like to see some numbers. I know both cars are amazing in corners I cant really say one way or the other I would like to see a track comparsion with times for the 2 cause EVO KILLS that in power so I am not sure what would happen.

I think the Elise will corner better round a circuit... but the problem will be the straits the EVO will catch up. Over all if you look at it from just a cornering standpoint. Its easier to get the EVO out of shape than it is the Elise.

Its a tough call though.. The EVO gets the 50/50 tqsplit so it can get sideways a little but but the suspension is so F* ing stiff you cant even tell. the Elise is just RWD I am not sure if they are possi rears either??!!?? if they are then they will get sideways alot easier than the EVO and they are harder to bring back. The Elise is a go kart with good aero body shapethe EVO is top heavy and a big box lol In the end I think the deside factor that might tell the tale of cornering is weights the Elise being so light might glide easyier through a corner.. I would love to drive one and compare because the EVO is by FAR the best handling car I have ever been in

Dude just drive to a Lotus dealership in a suit on ur day off... ask to test drive the Lotus Elise S (the S is a little quicker) and take it for a spin! LOL they will never know.

I will tell you now its hard to get the rear out on the Elise.

Im sure I could just drive there in the EVO and they may let me just take the car for a spin. you know the window value on the EVOs are up there so they might think I have full pockets lol.

I know they are hard to kick out but when pushing the car hard it becomes easier. It is not easy to kick the rear of the EVO out too unless it is wet out.

in a straight line it does. that is what I was reffering to in every thread I said that in. RWD can slap some fat slicks and pull 1.3 60fts out of the hole but you wont see that same car make a corner the way an EVO will

I love handling an I love the power. I wanted an elise for just the look and cornering alone. Johns MR2 has really good handling which is RWD mid engine and my car eats his up all around. the elise is obviously more advanced and aero. To bad they are NEVER here in Ma. I saw them in Fl ALOT though almost daily lol. there was a dealer about 10 minutes from me
