Default Music editor?

I need a good music editor that is free.. Anyone have any ideas? I would like to be able to rip the lyrics out or vice versa.. If you have a link or if I could download it right from ya, that would be great

You can use goldwave to rip the voice out of the music, it has a voice supressor on it, even though im not sure if you can use it for the other way round
