i saw an advertisement on here for these gauges that look like knock off Defi gauges and i'm just wondering if anybody has heard of them or used them? i planned on goin defi in my evo but if i can get some similar ones cheaper... why not.

 

They are Prosport gauges and I have them and love them. They don't need to be used with a control box of any kind either. They are your normal run of the mill gauges that have smoked lenses and the electric gauges do the needle sweep, self test, just like the Defi's do.
Here's mine. The first one is after I painted the rim black...they were silver like the ones on the bottom which is also lit up white with the lights off and car on. At night they light up red/amber. Prosport has blue and green lighting also.

nice, well now that i have a good resource... that sounds likea money saver to me lol. i'm usually a name ***** but if i can save 100/gauge... i'm sure as hell gonna do it.

Yup, the entire front part of the cabin is exact with an Eclipse/Talon. I've got an Eclipse center console, Talon seats (bolts right in and they're lighter than Avenger seats), and a GSX instrument cluster...hell, the dash wiring is from an Eclipse GSX, lol.
Except for being a tad bit longer and having a trunk, the Avengers/Sebrings are exactly the same as an Eclipse...oh and 50-75lbs heavier (Avenger/Sebrings).

Lol, I've programmed the stock boost gauge as my knock meter Good 'ol DSMLink.
