Default Probably selling '97 GS-T

Time to get something with a little less miles and can haul more people. Looking at a 2003 turbo S60 Volvo with only 43,000 milestomorrow with heated leather seats and fairly loaded. The Eclipse with cloth seats runs like a top, new balancer, timing belt, fuel regulator and general tuneup when we got it. 122,000+ mile on it. The only thing that doesn't work is the FM of the stock radio. What is the resale now days on the Eclipse? I was thinking I could get around $6,000. What do you guys think?

^^^x2 something is only worth what people are willing to pay. If you have an area with lots of tuners that have some dough you should be able to get some decent buck-age for it.

Pulled the trigger and bought the Volvo 2003 turbo S60. Very nice interior and the seats are way comfortable. I will clean the GS-T super clean and put it up for sale in about 3 weeks, just in time for Christmas shopping. To make a long strory short, I have 4 weeks to work on my prostreet metal before the tools are gone. My buddy I build cars with sold his house and shop and he has all the major tools, big welder, metal brake, metal roller, plasma cutter and other things. So that gets worked on first.

This car for about 2 tons is fairly quick on the low end when running premium gas. My daughter forgot we told her not to drive it while we were gone on a cruise and filled it a couple times with regular gas and it slowed down a bit. I'm still mad. But, it goes good enough to keep from getting ran over when pulling out and much better when on premium as listed in the manual. 5 cylinder turbo car and it feels great to drive. I hate to get out of it and drive anything else we own. It is very comfortable, and quicker than I would have thoughtand the 'geartronic' shifter is a nice add, somewhat like a paddle shifter but on the center console. Tap it up or down to change gears, but then slide itover to standard automatic shift and it actually feels to run a bit faster because they have put the auto shifting in a very good range, and it downshifts nice when stomped. I have a serious bid on the GS0T for about $5,500 but I may still wait out for a full $6,000, it is in such good mechanical shape, looks goodand has only 2 light door dings.
