kk lol i got the sub for 100 bucks from a cousin who didnt like it.....he had a good box for it but he sold it to one of his friends....and i dunno the first thing about box size, sealed/ported, or what sounds the best or hits the hardest...

lol like tidus said i just figured since it was a 10" box and it was a 10" sub it would fit

i have a 12" type R in a ported box and it sounds great. Altho i have never heard a type S, i would still recomend a ported box.

Ported always. If you dont port it you wont get as much bass... but it will be less stress on the sub.

YES....but lol....im in between a rock and a hard spot with how hard i can make this sub thump.....

the trunk of the 3000's is really really wierd shaped....and unless you take out your spare tire and build your boxes where they point up (which i definately wont do) ....anywhere you put the sub box is going to be fairly close to the back glass.....and the last thing i wanna do is be going down the road and suddenly shatter my rear windsheild....
