Default For Sale Section getting on my nerves...

Hey guys. I know we are trying to protect our members here, but why exactly do we need to APPROVE every single post? I think once the thread is accepted, we shouldnt have to accept every post made under the thread. I have talked to some people already, and pretty much all of them have agreed with me. Moderators what do you say???

its that way because we have no choice the site doesnt allow it ti automatically approve posts after a thread is made.

So all you can do is deal with it... If you could see all the garbage that this has saved youd be amazed were talking something like 30 threads have been locked and not approved in the past few months

I agree with you, it is a PITA. And try having to always go in there to approve the posts. But its the only way we can think to do it. The other ways i wanted to do it the software doesnt give the option so this is what we are left with. I really witsh there was a better way

Trust us... for the mods it's much more of a PITA than it is for you, it may take us a day or 2 for a post to show up for you but in the mean time you have to think that most likely we have approved and/or deleted a couple hundred other posts before getting to yours. we probably catch/delete/disaprove about 50 posts a day and about 100-150replies a day. so no offense but quit nagging... it sucks for everybody but it's better than having 1 more good member on this forum getting ripped off and then gettin pissed at the forum and spreading bad report. we are not a BIG forum by any means so 1 negative comment by 1 person spread to 5 ppl can result in hundreds of ppl not coming here... so again it's for everybody's safety and security. that's my piece. Agallardo, you know all you have to do is IM me.

I was just saying.... it gets on my nerves. And no it doesnt take a day or two before it appears "approved." Sometimes even like a week.
But I understand the safety of our members, and i agree with that too. But whatt about like other forums, how they have the fact that newbies cant post on the for sale section. Unless they have been amember for awhile, or making at least 100 posts, or something like that.
I know, that way might not be safe either. I guess i just hate waiting. LOL!

And by the way, RCJr9186, you are not online all the time. LOL!

SORRY FOR NAGGING. I just hate waiting... I'll deal with it.

I will check with the software people and see if there is any upgrade available to require a certain number of posts. For now, this is the best way to protect the members.
