he meant that the engine is stock. yessome Neons came w/ a SOHC 420a in previous years. yes it's slow, yes he's an idiot.

 

Like rcj said he proly ment that the internals are stock. The guy obviously is an idoit, but your cantblame him not everyone is acargenious. For example I dont know **** about rotary motors and would sound like a dumbass if I tryed to bs about them.

Now as far asthe sohc 420a, yes there was such a thing... kinda lol. dodge made their neons with a bunch of different motors, 1.8's, 2.0's, and 2.4's. If I am not mistaken the 2.0was the only one avaible withthe dohc(commonly known as the 420a and found in 97-99 neon r/t's).

The A855 was a 2.0 sohc motor which used the sameblock as the 420a, but everything elsewas different becauseof the orientation off the motor inthe car,same goes for the 420a in the r/t the block was the only core part that was interchangable, many people refertoit as a 420a tho... why i dunno lol.

it prolly wont' blow up on 7 psi but he will get beat by a lot of other slow stock cars like civic SI's, s2k's, evo's, gst's, gsx's, etc etc.
