no kidding. there are alot of reason why the supra is more worth your $$$ in the US than the skyline. I could have bought a R32 I think it was GTS but they are so lame IMO. plus the motors are nowhere near the potencial of the supra on the stock bottom end.

Thanks Gus, Yes I got a 93 6spd with 88k on the clock now. Rather than making it fast right now I am focused on fixing up the old minor eye sores and things that a 15 year old car brings

here is mine

Very nice supra but if I'm gonna spend that much on a rare car I'm gonna look for a skyline r32 or r34.
eh i think i would defintly want a supra before a skyline
The supra's look better imo but I just love the skylines, they look mean and cant go wrong w/ awd.

There is alot that goes wrong with AWD. More power loss more moving parts to break and they are worse for drag racing. on the street they are fun but rwd is alot more fun.

Not to mention awd is not always a smooth easy ride compaired to rwd. The skyline is one of those cars that given the money I still would not go near. They are simply in the US not worth the cash to go with the headaches it come with

I know parts break on awd's trust me I know lol. I just think it would be nice having a car totally different from anyone else. Thats why I got my panda, no one near me has one.

I have looked around on auto trader before and found several low milage gtr32's for abt 15k whick isnt bad at all. Your right abt the gtr34's they are way over priced.

15K for a r32 is not that good. they suck. I mean r32's are not impressive IMO at all. Id rather spend the extra money get a car that can be legal and LHD easy to drive and still be rare. considering only 4000 TT 6spds were ever shipped and another ~4000 autos that is damn rare. barley even 12,000 total all models are in the states that is insane when you consider the old camaros that are considered rare

I mean lets go to class here

CHEVROLET CAMARO PRODUCTION NUMBERS (1967-1969)
YEAR BASE- Z28- RS -SS PACE CAR- CONV TOTAL
1967 160,648 602 64,842 34,411 104 25,141 285,748
1968 176,813 7,199 40,977 30,695 0 20,440 276,124
1969 165,226 20,302 37,773 36,309 3,675 15,573 280,858
TOTAL 502,687 28,103 143,592 101,415 3,779 61,154 842,731

Lets now take 1969 as what many consider the "best year of the Camaro" During this year, a total of 280,858 cars rolled off of the assembly line.....see above chart for additional information.

A grand total of 842,741 Camaros were made in this body style!!!

now think of the $$$$ those cars bring in and the fact they are considered rare in todays standard

The SS are the ones worth the money. As long as they are original.

while that is true the TT supras are hte ones worth money. So compair production numbers their then ~8,000 TT supras 93.5-98vs what 100,000 SS 67-69 SS

5 years for the supra vs 3 years for the camaro. Not saying I would never rock out a 69 ss or Z but ya know.

im not possitive. I know it is possible to make low 400HP on bolt ons. Id like to get there first which is pretty much where I ended with my Evo. I dont know if the big turbo bug will get me again. At this time I dont care about that. I mean people are running 11s easy on bolt ons and tires.

Even though I just dropped $700 on 295s that arent even Drag radials. They hold the car pretty straight for now. First gear spins a small amount. The car currently is running 16PSI (stock is 10-11) running a 4inch HKS catback with a 3inch RMM dp, and HKS super mega flow intake, RPS 6puck unsprung clutch *unknown light flywheel*, it actually has a fully built motor from the last owner who was building for 900+HP and then never went anywhere with it.

It will be a long time before I put anymore go fast parts on. I want to convert the Tan interior to black. New leather seats, new carpet and do a rear seat delete. I also need motor mounts in a bad way, and coilovers of some sort. The paint has been redone but poorly so I would like to repaint again to fix up all the orange peel(entire drivers door and fender has no shine),dents, scratches ect and fix the rear bumper which was removed by a prior owner and was not installed properly which if you look hard at the rear pic you can actually tell.. that stuff alone will cost like $5-$8k depending on paint mainly. I will be doing the suspension and motor mounts this winter for sure and I want to redo the interior before next season as well but I am not counting on it as finding seats is a chore.
