I just call Halloween the time to legally scare children while offering them candy. :-p

As adults, we tell kids to dress up as frightening things and take candy from strangers.

EVERY parent is a bad role model this time of year, lol.

Also telling kids about characters that dont exist like santa the easter bunny leprichauns doesnt that make us even worse?

Not necessarily. Children need something magical to believe in during their innocence, or else they grow up too quickly.
