Hey everyone. Quick question. is the Mercury capri a DSM car? just wondering because my bro just bought a 1992 model and when i opened the hood, the motor looked like a 4g63 motor. Sorry if this is a stupid question, im pretty much a newbie to the mitsubishi dsm scene. Thanks

 

got 2 words for on this info, no & no.... ford; uh, mercury used pretty much the same engines ford did "MAZDA" or "ford." it might be possible for you to find an escort gt turbo or mustang turbo, turbo supercoupe and start adding boost to that goofy looking capri to give MR2 turbo, fieroowners fits. other than that i know of nobody that makes aftermarket for that car, then again i dont follow ford that much so i could be wrong on the aftermarket for the capri.
