RVR - When to call it quits? (Cat Converter issues... what else?)

I have a 2014 Mitsubishi RVR (aka Outlander Sport in the US). I have loved & driven this car HARD. In just 7 years I have put over 175,000 kms on it. Recently it feels like everything is going poorly. I have had to replace 2 wheel bearings and now I have an engine light that everyone is saying the Catalytic Converter. These repairs are $$ and I am tempted to cut my losses and buy a new car.

If I knew I could make these repairs and it would last another 3 - 5 years I would, but I'm so afraid I'll make these repairs and suddenly my transmission will go.

Does anyone have any experience with a really old/high KM RVR and what things are likely to go? Thanks in advance.

Repairing the car will total maybe 3 months of car new car payments :-) Always cheaper to keep it , wheel bearing are a normal issue , its almost parts of maintenance at this milleage ... think about it ....one bill for repair every 6 months , or one uge bill everymonth for years and all that without knowing that you are going to get a better car :-)
