98 rs no start no code
replaced so far:
Cam Angle Sensor Crank Position Sensor ECU Tested: Alternator Coil Actually sometimes the car does start if you turn the car all the way to start immediately it will rev up and then quit. I put an oscilloscope on the crank position pin on the ECU and I could see the output going high when cranking for that short period of time and then when it quits the crank posi stops reading the same. I can then turn the car off and wait for the output to go back low and then the car will do the same thing again. start for a moment and then quit. I replaced cam and crank sensors and got no results. Then ECU... So what next? OBD scanner shows no codes. |
Anyone know if the SRS system would do something like this on the engine side if part of it failed or if an inertia sensor got tripped? Antitheft maybe? I'm probably going to bypass the antitheft and see what i get
