Default Car stalling

While driving, my 93 mitsubishi galant occasionally stalls. I can restart it but when I turn it over, and it doesn't start, I have to turn the ignition off and back on before it will restart. If I try and start it without turning the key back off, it will just turn over. When it does start, occasionally, it will diesel until I turn the key back to the off position, wait five or ten seconds, and then it starts fine.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Sounds like a spark problem to me, Check the coil pack. I'd go ahead and do a tune up, get new spark plugs, new wires, change the oil, oil filter, run some in the gasoline seafoam/injector cleaner.

I'm thinking along the same line. I'm going for the coil first. Oil change is scheduled within the week. Replaced the fuel pump last week. It runs good just being a pain this week. I'll let you know how it turns out. ThanksJStrageger.

Hey, JStrateger. Good call. I replaced the distributor with the built in coil pack, and ignition module and then replaced the rotor and cap. Runs like a top. Thanks

I could have told you.

It was the ignition control module.
