outlander 2004 cobra alarm 8185
 

Have a 2004 outlander with a 8185 Copra alarm which has suddenly failed by not connecting to its fob
have pin from cobra but will not accept using recond method of, x3 ignition on's . led should stay on .it doesn't stays flashing

cant afford the cost of £580 that Mitsubishi dealer wants so want to remove
can anybody help with what's the best way to do it and keep the car running which its not at moment

The cobra installer shows that to install the wire from the starter switch is cut and passed through alarm cutting off starting if mobilised.
any idea if anything else needs reconnecting
