VIN added and photo link fixed. Lemme know if you have any questions... definitely a fun car, selling bc I just bought a 2004 EVO and need the cash from this one.

Most of the work was done by me, simply because I am very capable of it. During and a bit after college I was a performance mechanic, and had the honor of working on such cars as Skylines, Pulsars, 22b STi, EVO III, Soarer, JDM Supra, etc. The turbo, which is perfect for a street car, is capable on paper at 475hp, but 500hp wouldn’t be unreasonable. It currently is not tuned because I just re-did the fuel regulator and injectors. The fuel system should be good for 550hp.

The tasteful mod list speaks for itself. Built 2.3l hybrid stroker motor and built head that went in soon after I bought the car. Compression is dead on. I always had a second car so it only has 3500 mi or so on the engine and most of the mods. Clutch is grabbing perfectly. Rides solid. Reliable. Fun. Eye-catching. Has everything you need for a 450+hp dyno, and should have a built tranny if taken to a track. I just enjoyed it as an occasionally driven street car, but it is capable and built for much more! Probably 15k invested (I got everything at cost). EDM (European Domestic Market) tails and mirrors. Not that cheap, ugly junk on eBay. Genuine parts from a European eclipse. This thing does not look like your normal DSM and they are very tasteful. Mirrors match perfectly. It sounds great and it not raspy at all, the RSR exhaust in my opinion is the best out there, people often comment on how quite it is compared to other DSM’s. The interior is in great shape. No ugly and thief-catching a-pillar pods. A stock appearing dual gauge bezel is used instead. Trunk is real clean and has a new plywood base so you can actually put something heavy into the trunk, lots of room below it too. Interior is in great shape for a 1997! You get a FREE laptop/power inverter/network card for DSMlink too! It’s not great, but gets the job done. Never been smoked in. I hate that crap.

I would LOVE to, but I am 1600 miles away.

Would you be confident in the car driving 1600 miles?
