Dongle cannot be re-used.
No dongle means no update through DVD, only through HDD unlocking.

I dont need the dongle.. just the maps.. still have Q4 2005 maps that came with Q3 2007 outlander..

I already sold it together with DVD as I did not need it for update, but I'll ask the buyer if it is not thrown out yet.

so if i pay for 2013 maps i cant use the dongle for my outlander and my wifes galant? need 2 dongles or is there a work around that?

The workaround is unlocking your HDDs.

MMC programe disk for navigation just received

Not sure if this question is for this post but thought i would try anyway.
I have just received an original dvd from my dealer which came out of a 2014 GX4 Outlander . I will quote what the front of the DVD says.

Mitsubishi Muiti Communication System
Program Disk for Natvigation
R/E

Version C

This disk contains backup program data for map SD card when map data is broken.

Now a my question is will this disk work with older model systems? Mine is an 2009. If so how do i update the maps?

Looking on the Disk there is only 1 file Loading.KWI

Any help or advice will be greatly received.
