Exclamation 1998 Grandis SRS Light no go?

After some "grazing" the net time I too have now had a car fail WOF only because the SRS light on the dash fails to light up. (honestly cant remember it ever showing up now!)

Mmmm getting that 'Feeling' - however after discussion with our Local Mitsi dealer - they est. 4 hours to take head off, probably new gasket set, clean and replace - $90 an hour plus parts maybe.......

Ended up taking the Grandis to a local Steering Expert (Bates Alignment - In Hastings Hawkes Bay. He spotted the problem when all "feet" were up.

I know this is an 'old' post - but if this is the MSC consul that has the built in GPS and shows things like Air temp, Radio, Altitude etc then here in NZ people can get a simple manuals...
