Talking Digital Eclipse's 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse Carpc, LCD gauges video

Here is a video that I did of my 2003 Mitsubishi Eclipse carpc, this was taken just after I converted my gauge panel to a Lilliput 7" LCD screen. It was before I made a plexiglass bezel to go around it and apolstered my dash in black Italian leather. I will be posting an updated video when i get a chance.

Enjoy guys

Thanks man, just bits and pieces here and there, the gauge panel maybe an hour or so, took longer to load windows to the PC than the build itself, lol

That's pretty cool. Where did you get all the copenants to put that together like that? I love the way it looks, and all the information it gives you. How much did it cost to make that conversion?

I actually made most of the components out of fiberglass, plexiglass, and ABS plastic, the unit that controls everything is a standard micro ATX computer system running windows 7, probably have around a grand into it

That's not to bad of a price. I was getting a netbook set up to just plug into the car to play with the specs and what not, but the idea you came up with honestly would be better than having a netbook floating around in my car. I'm still trying to decide if I want to go this far with my ride or not. Time will tell. I just got the car a few weeks ago so still trying to get use to having a tiny vehicle. Went from a SUV to an Eclipse.

I do love the work you did though. It is pretty nice looking, and the paint job you did onthe dash is pretty sweet looking. I saw your post on another site and the dragons actually look pretty cool on the dash bezel. Any updates you do to the car please keep us updated. I'm learning a lot from this right now. lol
