A stock H22 would kill it. Think about it... gutted the car is 1900lb. H22=220 hp... thats pretty damn good power to weight ratio. VR4 = 3800lb @ aprox 300+hp... you do the math. With nitrous on the H22... you think it had ANY chance?

whoa whoa whoa...i cant believe a turbo H22 with nitrous didnt blow...the motor is notorious for being limited on how much pressure it can take. The cylinder walls of an H22 are very thin and the motor cant hole much boost stock...350whp is deffinately possible but the motor wont produce much more power without some serious work.

Whoa whoa whoa. I don't believe any of these schmos. Including the schmos that didn't believe the other schmos. Basically, all these guys are bee-essing this forum and treating us like we aren't what we know we are: clown shoes....sweet ones with laces. First of all, the Talon is one sweet ride...if you hate everything including a ham sandwich.
Let me say that mitsubishis are awesome televisions...and they make cars as well. TVs and cars are probably the best things ever. Making both puts Mitsubishi in a class of its own: 5th grade phys-ed.
Also, I have no idea what an H22 swap is...or pretty much any of what most of the people here have said here....but I have an opinion and that is all someone can have in matters such as these. Matters of the heart...family matters....place matters etc.
In a quarter mile lots of things can happen. A foot slips...a clutch slips....a baby is born. What I am trying to say is that the real world is a harsh place full of wins, losses, losers, winners and loose winners. Don't be the second or third item in that list.
Put it on the glass,
plastic

sebba, idk whose side your taking, but i gotta say the vr4 could not have lost to that thing. in words of me speaking, think that a vr4 runs mid 13's stock, and launches like a bat outta hell.......a del slow that has a h22 is gunna torque steer, and spin em for days. plus the engine is too heavy for a little car. and the vr4 should have had like 1/8 of a mile on it already lol
