Default '04 Outlander control arm washers

Hey all! Hope someone can help me.
I have a 2004 Outlander and have to change the lower control arms, but the bolt that holds the arm onto the frame is frozen inside the arm.
My mechanic says that the arm can be removed by using a heat torch to release the bolt, but the rubber washers that provide a buffer between the arm and the u-shaped bracket it goes into will be destroyed and need replacement.
I've tried to find these rubber washers everywhere with no luck. I even tried contacting the manufacturer of the arms I bought but they don't have them.
Contacted Mitsubishi directly and they said that if I buy from the dealer they won't sell the washers separately, just packaged with the entire arm ($265 from the dealer, $69 from an online vendor).
Does anyone know what can be used in place of these washers, or where to buy them separately? I really don't want to spend $265 for a pair of rubber washers if I don't have to.
Thanks everyone!! Hope for an answer soon.
Karl
