Suspension Is your ride slammed to the ground? Did you lift it so high you need a ladder to get in?

Default Front and Back lowering question

I have no experience with lowering a vehicle, so an obvious question came to me. For example, on my 97 eclipse, the front is already pretty low to the ground and the rear is higher... for that "sport" look. I was wondering, when you buy lowering springs, how do people get their cars level? I mean, when you buy say, a 1.5" drop spring, wouldn't that drop both the front and back 1.5" ..essentially dropping the front into the ground but the rear still being higher? Does this mean to get that even look you would have to buy a set of 1.5" for the front and (maybe) 2" for the rear, and have 4 springs left over? lol

Default RE: Front and Back lowering question

I'd say either keep the back just a tad higher or get coilovers. I'm not sure but I think the back is supposed to be a little bit higher.
