RE: lowering 98 eclipse
Just try you local shop's, tell them what you have and need to be done. Go to a couple different ones and see what they give you for a price. Its hard to tell you the best place, because every area has different pricing, also we dont know whats around you.

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
reason why i ask is beacuse i dont kno if any local shop would lower it also?

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
If you have the parts they should install them with out a problem. If a shop won't, another will, its still money in their pocket.

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
Most shops will install loweriing springs and shocks if you ask them, it really isnt any extra labor to install aftermarket springs/shocks than it is stock ones.

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
yea most shops definetly will install them, there are always those few that arn't allowed to because of "liability"

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
mechanic quote me 200 labor to change all 4 springs, is that normal?
|
RE: lowering 98 eclipse
shocks and springs. Thats a pretty normal price. I think i paid something like 180 for all four struts/shocks

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
I am not all that mechanically inclined and I did mine myself in a little under 5 hrs. Went to Autozone rented a spring compressor and did two wheels at a time.

RE: lowering 98 eclipse
Yea, Its super easy to do just the hard part is finding a reliable spring compressor. I've thought about making my own because they are really a simply design.
