mitsubishi 3000GT control arm bushing

I have a 99 Mitsubishi 3000GT and have been having alot of problems with clunking in the front when I slow down to fast or hit the breaks, I am sure its the lower control arm bushing from what we have narrowed down but I am having alot of trouble finding a bushing for the drivers side front lower control arm. Does anyone know where I can find one or have the same problem?

I realize this is an older post, but I am having the same problem. Sounds like blocks of wood hitting. I had both lower control arms replaced and its still makes the noise. Were you able to find out what it was?

Thanks

It could be a lot of things, shocks, bushings, etc. You really need to get under there, or bring it to a mechanic, and look it over to pinpoint where your problem area(s) are. Sometimes, it's not just one part that is in need of replacing.

Same problem

Yeah I was hearing the same problem so I took it to my mechanic and he said it was the driverside lower control arm bushing, does anyone know where I can get one for a 97? Mitsubishi's sayin I have to buy the whole control arm and I really don't want to do that if I don't have to
