will these rims fit?

Hey guys, I have a 2001 Eclipse GT and it is still riding on stock suspension. I am looking at a set of rims that are 5x114.3 with a 40 as the offset. They are 17 inch rims. Will they be alright as far as rubbing on the turn and then after i lower it? thanks guys

what width are you going with?
if you're thinking about lowering your car i would do that first and then try to fit wheels and tires. doing it the opposite way is a lil harder. the wheels might not work after you lower it. there are different variables involved.
