Default Eclipse 4th Gen. 18"-20" pros-cons

I am considering upgrading my wheel size and I would like to know if anyone have any real experience with larger wheels on their eclipse. I have heard some conflicting information about having to get the wheel wells "curled" or something like that, also I have been told that it may rub the wells when turning or when the car banks to one side or the other. If anyone has larger wheels and can help me bust or confirm some of these myths that would be great!

Please don't make duplicate threads. One will be adequate.

You should not go larger than 18" on the Eclipse.

Rolling the fenders will come with the width, not the height.

And also the size of the wheel doesn't mean it'll take up any more space in the wheel well. It'll simply have a tire with less sidewall, but the overall circumference will be the same. Does that make sense?

When you have less tire sidewall like with bigger wheels, you end up with a worse ride, worse handling, and expensive tires.
